Kazuko's Shade. Kazuko is comfortable with her, while Ameya, in return, is very protective of Kazuko, and does try to pressure her into thinking more about herself or to try certain things that make her uncomfortable. She has taught Kazuko 'communion', boiled over thrice, and finally went berserk, revealing herself and all of Kazuko's inner pain. Kazuko's answer to the age-old Shade question was for the two of them to work together. After Kazuko was 'saved', Ameya appended her already long last name once more.
