A Xaela man with a penchant for the arena and the ability to transform into a phoenix. He met Kaz because he recognized the pendant of her necklace-a Blue Mage Soul Crystal. He is now mentoring her in the arts of Blue Magic and teaching her spells in new ways, all while giving her plenty of gil to feed her massive appetite, which gave him some cause for concern and confusion, especially now that he knows it's caused by aetherical instability. He only knew Aetherspurn at first, but then went searching in places he shouldn't have to learn about Aethersap. He revealed this and a matter far across the sea after cooking a meal (with spells) for her, and now Kazuko has gone off the deep end...
